Observatory Extension
The observatory wall needed to be pushed out a bit to accommodate the size of the RC.

Tight Fit
The scope actually clears the wall by 3 inches.

The A&M Scopes
The 1056 Refractor and RC 400 IM-T waiting for dark atop the Paramount ME.

The A&M RC 400 IM-T ME Edition arrived at my office on March 1, 2008 along with a A&M 1056 Refractor.  Both scopes were expertly packed in custom cases and looked perfect.   I assembled the RC trusses with the help of a friend in about an hour but it took three of us to lift and slide the RC onto the ME versaplate  The RC weighs about 85 lbs. without an imaging train and is just over 4 feet long.
