| Notes |
This page shows
a compilation of 3 images compiled from two sets of data fading in and
out using JavaScript code written by Brandon Levinger.
The base image, an RGB version of NGC 7538, is used for the initial
build.
The narrowband color image is a 6 filter combination
utilizing traditional RGB filters and mapping Ha to Red, OIII to Blue and SII to Red. The
narrowband data was combined and utilized as the luminance layer to
enhance the nebula detail while the RGB data was used for the stars.
The Narrowband
data was also used to create the third image in the Hubble Palette.
